Inniskillin makes some of the world's finest sweet wines and the 2006 Vidal Oak Aged Icewine is a good example of the company's ever improving expressions. This wine is rich gold, with a nose of sweet jam and honey, and a concentrated palate of peach, ripe pear and candied berry; very full in the mouth, velvety sweetness lingers in a surprisingly fresh finish. Now owned by the giant, Vincor International, Inniskillin is a pioneer of the high-end Canadian wine industry with a range of premium ice wines as well as dry red and white wines.


Serve at 6 - 8℃; best as a digestif, or matches with ripe tropical fruit or with plain cakes like pound cakes, also quite rewarding with Chinese style sweet moon cakes.
