Well-made wine with deep ruby red color, nose of plentiful red berries with a touch of vanilla and oak and concentrated flavors of black and red fruit with a smooth long finish; Cantina Frentana is a top cooperative in Aruzzo with over 400 members using a combination of technology and local tradtions to make ever improving, high-quality wines.
Allow 15+ minutes for breathing and serve at 18°C; this robust red wine is lovely with grilled meats, especially quality steaks and chops and also goes well with hearty Chinese meat dishes like Stew Pork and Beijing Style Roasted Lamb.
12 months in French oak & bottle aging.
Drinking nicely now, can also be cellared for 6~7 years.
