Simply put this is one of the finest Montepuciano wines from Italy, an elegant and complex wine with dark ruby red color, expressive aromas of ripe red fruits with nuances of spices and flower and robust flavors of ripe red berries and long soft tannic finish.
Allow 30+ minutes for breathing & serve at 18℃; this wine is lovely with all kinds of roasted fowls and red meat and is also great with Teppanyaki style steaks.
In small oak for 18 months.
This wine will continue to develop over the next decade.
