A ton of flavor for a modest price; this is a full-bodied wine with dark ruby red-purple color, abundant scents of red berries and licorice and concentrated typically Shiraz dark fruit and spices flavors; not surprisingly the style is quite Australian with upfront fruit, solid tannins and good balance; produced by the Casella family, the Yellowtail brand was launched in 2000 and has become very popular, especially in the US.
Serve at 16℃, the wine matches well with BBQ meats, hearty stews and even spicy Asian meat dishes.
Light oak aging.
