The 2001 vintage in Barossa was excellent for red wines; this full-flavored, international style Shiraz wine features a dark red-black color, nose of plums, dark berries and exotic spice and delicious black cherry, tobacco and chocolate flavors; the wine has a very nice fruit and tannin balance with a satisfyingly long finish of oak and spices; Peter Lehmann has been one of Barossa's most respected winemakers for over four decades and in 1979 established his own company.
