Top Chianti Classico with concentration and complexity, this elegant wine features a deep ruby red color, red fruit and floral nose and concentrated flavors of black cherries and dark fruit; 18 months in 65% new French oak has imparted a round subtle texture and delicious oak overtones; the finish is long and complex; established in 1141 by the Ricasoli family and returned to family ownership in 1993; the estate is run by 32nd Barone Ricasoli, Francesco Ricasoli, producing award-winning wines that are among Italy's finest.
Serve at 18℃; the wine matches with elegant meat dishes including roasted wild and domesticated fowl and rack of lamb.
