The wine comes from a newly famous winery in Languedoc-Roussillon with limited production award-winning wines; made since 2005, it has gained great acclaim; produced in quantity of 4,000 bottles; vinied from grapes of 40-year-old Syrah vines; it has a dark red color and strong nose of black currants and baccas, mixed with chocolate, cocoa and haws; it has a long finish with supple but full tannins.
Allow at least an hour for breathing and serve at 18℃; match with heavy-flavored food, like braised steak, German Pork Knuckle, and Chinese Dong-Puo Pork; or enjoy by itself.
Minimum 2 years in new French oak.
Can be kept for more than 10 years; best after 5 - 8 years.
