The limited production, flagship premium wine of Jacob's Creek, Johann is a wonderfully complex and generous wine with a deep ruby-crimson red color, lively nose of cassis and red berries with a touch of spiciness and concentrated rich, almost sweet, flavors of black fruit, blueberries and a touch of oak along with a pleasingly round tannic finish that's quite long. Jacob's Creek is part of the Pernod Ricard Group and Australis's largest wine brand with a wide range of affordable to premium wines.
Serve at 18℃ and allow 30 minutes to breathe; match with hearty meat dishes including BBQ Steaks and chops, meat roasts as well as distinctive cheeses like Parmesan and Cheddar; also very nice with Beijing Style Roasted Lamb.
