One of the wines that helped create the term "Super Tuscan", from the super hot 2005 vintage this wine has a intense dark ruby red color, nose of red cherries and stewed fruits and lots of ripe dark fruit flavors with hints of tobacco and chocolate and a smooth long finish; in the 1930s the noble Antinori family inherited this winery and helped bring new investment and expertise.
Serve at 18℃ and allow at least 45 minutes for breathing; match with flavorful meat and cheese dishes including Prime Rib and Prime Steaks as well as Beijing Style Roasted Duck.
