Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wines are renowned in history as the wines of the Italian nobility; the excellent 2006 vintage has a dark red-purple color, refined nose of dark fruit and spices, delicious black berry, vanilla and subtle oak flavors and remarkably round tannins and a long and satisfying finish; since 1385, Antinori has been one of Italy's most famous producers, today offering a wide range of inexpensive, good-value wines as well as some of the world's most prized wines.
