Made of 100% Sangiovese grapes, this is a very nice Chianti Classico wine with a reasonable price tag; the wine has a penetrating ruby red color, generous cherry and red berry nose and red cherry and dark fruit flavors with a touch of Sangiovese spice and a pleasing gentle tannic finish; established in 1877, Ruffino is one of Tuscany's biggest and best producers.


Serve at 18℃; the wine has good acidity and matches well with meat and cheese pastas, grilled salmon or tuna steaks and various BBQ meat dishes.


Light oak aging.
