
2007 was an exceptional Maipo vintage in a region consistently good vintages; this well-made, reasonably-priced wine has a purple-red color, aromas of blueberries and strawberries and ripe dark fruit and mocha flavors with a pleasantly smooth, slightly mineral finish; Vina Chocalan is a leading producer in the Maipo Valley making a range of good quality, approachable wines.

Allow 15+ minutes for breathing & serve at 16℃; good with BBQ and roasted meats and especially good with slightly spicy meat dishes like General Tso’s Chicken, Hunan Style Red Pepper Cured Beef.

Light oak aging.

Drink now or within 3 years.
