This has become one of Napa’s most stylish and consistently excellent wines; the wine has dark purple, blackish-red color, appealing dark fruit and floral scents and plenty of ripe black current, mocha and toasted oak flavors with soft tannins and an impressively long complex finish; established in 1986 by Delia Viader, Viader is located on the steep, rocky slopes of Howell Mountain overlooking Napa Valley making elegant, structured wines using old world cultivation methods.
Allow 1+ hours breathing and serve at 18℃; great with U.S. Prime steaks, but also lovely with flavorful Chinese meat dishes like Beijing Style Roasted Lamb and Anhui style Fried Mutton.
Aged in small oak barrels.
Drinking beautifully now & can be cellared for 15+ years.
