One of the world’s great sweet wines that also happens to be a great value, this VORS wine has a brooding dark mahogany color, with iodine-colored borders, complex note with raisin notes and nuances of oak and rich raisins, vanilla, plums and plum flavors and soft, velvety mouthfeel and lasting finish that’s surprising clean for such an intensely sweet wine; Bodegas Garvey is one of Spain’s most important producers with a long history of producing Sherry and other styles of wines.
Serve about 12℃; enjoy as a dessert by itself, but also lovely with black chocolate, vanilla ice-cream, and also blue cheese.
