Made from vines 45 to 50 years old, this is a top Barbera wine with dark ruby red color, lively nose of blackberries, mint and oak and luscious and concentrated black and red fruit flavors and a pleasingly long mineral finish; established in 1977, La Spinetta is an innovator in Piedmont with two additional wineries in Tuscany, all making high-quality, distinctive wines.
Allow 30+ minutes for breathing and serve at 18℃; the combination of freshness and power in this wine makes it a great match with wild game and hearty red meat dishes including Shanxi Style Lamb Chop.
