The 2008 vintage in Barossa was very hot, resulting heady wines; this full-flavor, international-style Shiraz wine features a dark red-black color, nose of plums, dark berries and exotic spices and delicious black cherry, tobacco and chocolate flavors with a satisfyingly long finish; the wine has a very nice fruit and tannin balance; one of the most respected and acclaimed winemakers in Southern Australia, all of Peter Lehmann wines are good, from the good-value, entry-level wines to some of Australia's best red wines.
Serve at 18℃; this hearty wine can match with roasted beef, roasted leg of lamb as well as hearty meat stews.
