With grapes sourced from the cooler regions of Sonoma, this wine has a dark red-purple color, lively black fruit, chocolate and pepper nose and rich blueberry and blackcurrant flavors and a smooth, slightly smoky finish; founded in 1979, La Crema produces some of the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, which combine Burgundian techniques and Californian style.
Allow 30 minutes for breathing and serve at 16-18°C; match with roasted meat and slightly spicy Asian meat dishes.
