Made from vines averagely 90 years old, this well-balanced wine features a dark red-purple color, spicy aroma with floral hints, spicy blackberry and black cherry flavors in a lasting tannic finish; founded in 1895 by Edoardo Seghesio, Seghesio Family Vineyards is now part of Crimson Wine Group and produces some of the world’s prized Zinfandel wines.
Serve at 16°C; match with roasted meats and pastas in tomato sauce.
3/4 in French oak and 1/4 in American oak for 12 months.
Drink nicely now and can be cellared for another 7~8 years.
