The wine has a dark ruby red-purple color; fresh cherry and black pepper nose; ripe blueberry and other dark fruit flavors with a delightful mineral and slightly smoky finish. One of New Zealand's best wineries, family-owned Craggy Range has been an important pioneer in making premium and super premium single vineyard wines in New Zealand.
Allow 30+ minutes for breathing and serve at 16℃; matches with boldly flavored meats, especially game and cheeses; try with Hunan style goat with garlic and chilis.

Lovely now and can be cellared for a decade.
