Modern style, balanced Spanish red, this wine has a deep red-black color, aromas of cassis, ripe red berry and other red fruit; lively bitter cherry and black berry flavors and a pleasing smooth finish. Bodega Fundada is part of the Union Campesina Iniestense cooperative that was formed in 1944 and makes some of central Spain's best good value wines.
Allow 15 - 20 minutes for breathing and serve at 15℃; matches well with many light meat dishes and mild cheeses; try with Chinese home style boiled pork with soy dipping sauce.
No oak aging.
Drink now or within 2 - 3 years.
