One of the best right bank Bordeaux blend style wines from New Zealand. The 2010 wine features a dark garnet red color, elegant nose of blackcurrant and spice, chocolate, generous blackberry and cassis flavors with a lengthy soft tannic finish. One of New Zealand's best wineries, family-owned Craggy Range has been an important pioneer in making premium and super premium single vineyard wines in New Zealand.
Allow 45+ minutes for breathing and serve at 18℃; ideal partner to grilled steaks and lamb chops, also matches well with Beijing style grilled lamb.
Aged 18 months in 44% new French oak.
Approachable now but will continue to develop over the next 10 - 15 years.
