Classically elegant and fresh Gevrey-Chambertin. The 2010 wine features a medium-dark ruby color, aromas of red berries and spices; and fresh red fruit flavors with good mineral and a lengthy clean finish. Since establishment in the 1750s, Chanson Père et Fils has developed into one of Burgundy's most important producers with a wide range of consistently stylish wines.
Allow 30+ minutes for breathing and serve at 16℃; nice with all types of fowl and white meats; try with Jiang Zhe style "lion's head" meat balls.
13 months in French oak.
Drink well now and can be cellared for 5+ years.
