Complex, persistent and elegant, this is one of the best premium Franciacorta. The 2006 wine has a straw yellow color with a very fine and persistent perlage; an intense nose of candied apples, chamomile with hints of aniseed, vanilla and complex flavors of ripe yellow fruit and an extremely long mouth-puckering dry finish. Since their first vintage in 1984, Vittorio Moretti and the winemaker Mattia Vezzola have made Bellavista into one of Italy's wineries that makes some of the world's best sparkling wines.
Serve at 10℃; enjoy with elegant seafood and white meat dish, also glorious companion to Jiang Zhe style "lion's head" meat balls with crab paste.
Predominantly fermented in small oak barrels and 6 years in the bottle prior to release.
Lovely now but can be enjoyed over the next decade.
