With three grapes varieties, this is a predominantly Merlot wine with a little Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel added. This wine features a ruby-garnet red color, expressive nose of red berry and plum, concentrated flavors of cherry, blue berry and plum with a long smooth finish. Owned and managed by the Shahabi Brothers since 1992, Stonehedge is a small family-operated winery recognized for consistently excellent quality.
Allow 20+ minutes for breathing and serve at 16 - 18℃; nice with grilled white and red meats, and a fine companion to Beijing duck.
50% in French and 50% in America oak for 14 months.
