This is a very impressive white wine from one of France's lesser known wine regions. The intriguing bouquet and taste of this $ 1,100 wine will impress.

If you are looking for something stylistically new, try this wine. The wine has a very dark yellow-golden color. The bouquet is replete with ripe fruit flavors that literally burst out of the glass. This is a very concentrated wine with pear and citrus flavors and edge of acidity that provides a clean finish. Enjoy this wine with a variety of seafood including Grilled Fresh Sardines, Grilled Mackerel and Braised Sea Perch. This wine also matched nicely with Fettuccini with Truffle Cream Sauce. Serve this wine chilled, about 10~12 ℃.

Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees (a mountain range in southwest France), the Madiran wine region has been producing wine for over 1,000 years. Recently, the region has been wining praise for their rich, super concentrated style of white and red wines. Alain Brumont, renowned for his long vinification process and slow maturing wines, is one of the most respected producers in this intriguing wine region.
