Georges Duboeuf is referred to as the king of Beaujolais. More than anyone else he helped popularize Beaujolais and especially the global phenomenon of Beaujolais Nouveau. The 2003 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau does not tarnish his lofty reputation. The wine has a medium light purple red color and very open fruity nose. In the mouth the wine has charming combinations or ripe dark fruits and a clean slightly acid finish. Match this wine with meat and cheese pizza as well as Taiwanese supper dishes. Serve at 12 C.
