This 100% Sangiovese wine is an excellent example of the superior wine Italy is producing. 1997 was opn of the best vintages in recent Italian history. This is a big wine with excellent dark color and elegant nose. In the mouth the wine offers generous wild black cherry and ripe plum flavors. The finish is very long and satisfying.
