Over the past 10 years Pontet Canet has been one of the hottest Bordeaux wines. Robert Parker and Wine Spectator have consistently rated this wine higher (95+) than many better known class growths. The 1996 vintage was one of the best for this wine and is drinking excellently now － 2010. The 1996 Pontet Canet is one of the best values in Taiwan for a leading Bordeaux in an excellent vintage. Match this wine with steaks, chops and roasts. Serve at 18 C.
