Named after Sabazio, full name Sabatino Lulli, who was very influential in medieval viticulture in the Montepulciano area, this is a typically Italian styled red wine made with the classic Italian Sangiovese (80%) and Canaiolo (20%) varieties. The wine has a dark purple-red colored wine with nice scents of red and black berries and a little spice. In the mouth, the wine offers flavors of ripe berries flavors and solid tannins. Subtle oak flavors from the four months in oak are also apparent. This wine is perfect with hearty meat and cheese dishes. Serve at 18℃.
