Torres is one of Spain's great wine innovators. Using the French variety Cabernet Sauvignon and modern winemaking techniques, Torres has created a very delicious and supple full-bodied wine with flavors of dark berries, spices and a hint of chocolate. In 1997, the Penedes region experienced ideal weather conditions before the harvest in September and October, hot and dry － a very good vintage.
