A prestigious cuvée blended of up to 50 different wines from six to ten vintages, this wine has a bright medium golden color with exquisitely small and persistent bubbles, pungent nose of green apples and butter and concentrated elegant red berry, toast and nut flavors and a long complex finish; Krug was founded in 1843 by Johann-Joseph Krug and since then has produced a range of full-body, traditionally-made wines; Krug is now owned by the LVMH and is perhaps the most admired Champagne brand.
Serve at 10℃ and allow 5+ minutes to settle in the glass; match with roasted fowl, game and Lobster Thermidor or Steamed Maine with Drawn Butter.
Minimum 6 years of bottle aging.
Ready at release but will develop greater complexity over the next 5 years and can be cellared for over 10 years.
