Traditionally styled Chianti Classico wine with garnet-ruby red color, open nose of red cherries and other red fruit with a touch of spice and deliciously earthy dark and red fruit flavors with hints of smoke and oak; this is good example of a distinctive Chianti Classico wine that nicely expresses the terrior of Badia a Coltibuono; match with herb roasted chicken, roasted pork as well as a wide variety of Chinese meat dishes; Badia a Coltibuono is located in an ancient Tuscan Abbey and makes a range of very good classic Chianti and Chianti Classico wines.
