Lovely traditional Rioja red wine experience at a reasonable price; this wine features attractive ruby red color with brick red hue, pleasant red berries and oak scents and round and pleasing dark fruit, cherries and oak flavors; the wine has good weight in the mouth and an intriguing slightly smoky finish; match with hot meat tapas, grilled lamb and beef and tasty cheeses; established in 1932 by Isaac Muga, Bodegas Muga is still family-owned and has built a reputation for producing very fine, traditionally styled Rioja wines.
