Very fine Cotes du Rhone wine featuring a purple color with reddish hue, pleasing nose of red fruit and ripe berries, black fruit and touch of spice; this is a young wine that's drinking very nicely now but can be kept for another few years; the wine is well-balanced with good freshness; match with a wide variety of meat and cheese dishes and also with elegant fish dishes like salmon or cod; founded at the end of 1989, by the association of three ancient estates, Domaine Saint-Benoit has gained a reputation for producing top Cotes du Rhone and Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines.
