Often referred to as the "Poor Man's Grange", this Cabernet Shiraz blend is the best mid-priced Penfolds red wine with a brick red color, elegant dark fruit and spice bouquet and concentrated flavors of black berries, plum and chocolate flavors; aged 13 months in American oak (78% second year Grange oak & 22% new American oak) this wine is quite round and soft on the palate with a pleasingly long finish; match with Prime steaks, lamb chops as well as stewed Shanghai meat dishes; established in 1844, Penfolds is Australia's most famous red wine producer.
