International style Chardonnay resembling a lighter version of a good New World Chardonnay; the wine has an appealing light golden color with green nuances, vanilla and citrus nose and nicely concentrated flavors of ripe apples, melon and vanilla; this is a pleasing but not overwhelming example of Chardonnay and a nice pairing with light appetizers and grilled fish dishes; Pighin produces modern-styled, fresh wines from one of Italy's up and coming regions ~ Friuli.
