Very nice example of the good value, quality "cremant" sparkling wines from the Loire Valley, this wine features a pale yellow slightly golden color with small bubbles, pleasant apple and floral nose and nice ripe peach flavors with a hint of honey; the bubbles are nicely persistent in the mouth and the finish is semi-dry and respectably long; match with deep fried or sautéed seafood and fish as well as seafood salads and pizzas or try as an aperitif; since 1886 Monmousseau has been making wines and for nearly a century they have been one of the leaders in making Loire Valley sparkling and still wines.
