Inexpensive and flavorful red wine from the up and coming San Juan region of Argentina, this wine has a ruby red color with purple rim and fragrant nose of red berries and spices and plenty of black fruit flavors with gentle tannins and pleasingly long finish; match with white meat dishes including BBQ or roasted chicken as well as meat and cheese pastas; Bodegas Borbore was established in 1932 by an Italian immigrant and purchased by the well-known Argentinean wine family Pulenta in 2000; this winery produces a range of good value, quality wines.
