One of the best examples of a "Baby Super Tuscan", this medium bodied wine beautifully expresses Sangiovese in its youth; the wine features bright ruby red color, lively bouquet of red berries and spice and nice round flavors of ripe cherries and gentle tannins.
Allow 30 minutes for breathing and serve 16℃; match with a wide variety of meats including chicken, pork, veal and BBQ red meats and because of its fresh fruitiness this wine is also quite pleasant with bitter chocolate desserts.
10 months in small oak.
Drinking very nicely now but will develop more complexity over the next 3 years and can be kept for 10+ years.
