Classic Amarone wine with deep ruby and mahogany red color, intense aromas of ripe red fruit and stewed cherries and concentrated spicy dark fruit flavors with a hint of vanilla and a very long and complex finish.
Allow at least 30 minutes for breathing and serve at 18˚C; lovely with strong cheeses as well as roasted meats and Szechuan style, slightly spicy meat dishes.
24 months in 80% Slavonian oak and 20% small oak with at least 4 months of bottle aging.
The wine is delicious now but will develop more complexity with aging and can be kept for over 25 years.
