Classically styled Amarone with deep ruby red with blackish tones, aromatic nose of stewed and dried fruits and spices and full, rich almost sweet flavors of stewed cherries and ripe dark fruit with it releases intense aromas laden with rich spice and dried fruit; in the mouth it is a wine of superb richness and majestic flavors.
Decant and allow 30 minutes for breathing and serve at 18℃; great with very flavorful cheeses like Gorgonzola and old Parmesan as well as all types of roasted and stewed game dishes including Chinese style wild boar.
30 months in a combination of French oak barrels and large Slavonian oak followed by a year bottle aging.
Good now, will develop further complexity after 3 years and can be cellared for over 20 years.
