The Sacromonte Collection series of wines all have an average age of 15 years, the dry Oloroso is one of the best with a deep mahogany color with copper reflections; intense nose of roasted nuts with balsamic notes and smooth full flavors of stewed fruits, nuts and oak and an impressively long finish; Bodegas Valdivia produces a range of premium Sherries that beautifully showcase the range of Sherry styles as well as Brandies.
Use a generous sized glass and serve about 12℃; excellent to accompany Spanish Serrano Cured Ham, and excellent with strong flavored game dishes; in China try with Xinjiang Style Savory Lamb Ribs and Guizhou Style Roasted Pork Ribs.
Aged in American oak using the solera system.
