The cool climate of Sonoma has endowed Zinfandel wine with good acidity and mature tannins; this wine features a dark red-purple color, black pepper aroma, spicy berry and cherry flavors in a lasting tannic finish; founded in 1895 by Edoardo Seghesio, Seghesio Family Vineyards is now part of Crimson Wine Group.
Serve at 16°C; match with meat dishes and spicy Asian food.
3/4 in French oak and 1/4 in American oak for 12 months.
