One of the better Bordeaux AOC reds, this wine has a dark ruby red color, red berry, strawberry and slightly spicy vanilla aromas and well-balanced red fruit flavors with soft tannins. Ginestet is a big and respected Bordeaux merchant that sources wines from 7,500 châteaux; considering the scale of this operations, results are impressive.
Allow 15 minutes for breathing and serve at 16℃; goes with red meat dishes and medium strong cheeses; try with Sichuan style sliced pork in garlic sauce.
Short period in oak.
