Another award winning wine from Delicato. The 2010 Shiraz is dense purple, with scents of blueberry and oak, and on the palate concentrated flavors of dark berry, black pepper and a touch of leather; this smooth wine has good weight in the mouth and a pleasing spicy finish typical of Shiraz. For over 75 years, the Delicato family has been making quality wines in California; and with their Chinese-born winemaker, they are currently on a hot streak.
Serve at 16℃; matches with spicy BBQ meats or game; try this wine with Chinese style pig foot with chili pepper.
