Torbreck's entry-level red wine outperforms many Ausi reserve level wines. The wine has a deep red-purple color, aromas of cherry and nutmeg; concentrated flavors of raspberry, spice and black cherry with subtle herb notes and a supple tannin finish. Established in 1994, Torbreck Vintners is a rising star Barossa producer that specializes in Rhône style wines.
Allow 15 - 20 minutes breathing time and serve at 16℃; nice companion to BBQ chicken, pork and sausages; try with Jiang Zhe style baked "beggar's chicken" wrapped in mud.
10 - 12 months in oak.
