This Côtes du Rhône is named after the 45th parallel of north latitude which runs by just two kilometers from the cellars of Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné. This wine is deep red with an elegant and aromatic nose of red fruit and spices; a palate of ripe dark fruit, supported by well-structured tannins yielding to a spicy finish. Established in 1834, Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the largest and best known Rhône Valley producers with a wide range of quality wines from collectables to wines suitable for everyday drinking.
Allow 15+ minutes for breathing and serve at 16℃; matches well with all types of meats and hard and soft cheeses; also a fine companion to Cantonese style roasted pigeon.
Aged in stainless steel tanks.
