The 2008 wine is deep red with hints of purple, aromas of ripe black cherry, and on the palate plum and concentrated ripe cherry sliding to a long, slightly spicy finish. Allow 30+ minutes for breathing and serve at 18℃; this wine makes a pleasing partner for all types of fowl, especially rich duck dishes, meats and hard cheeses of medium pungency; also lovely with Beijing duck.
