Sourced from some of Burgundy's (and the world's) greatest Chardonnay vineyards. This elegant white wine shows its maturity in its golden color, refined exotic fruit and almond aromas, while offering a flowing palate of elegantly ripe yellow fruit accented with subtle notes of vanilla and a long, clean, acidic finish. Established in 1859, Louis Jadot is a large and progressive Burgundy merchant / producer marketing a wide range of high quality wines.
Allow 5 - 10 minutes for breathing in glass, serve about 10 - 12℃; this elegant Burgundy is best enjoyed with specially matched seafood dishes, including Dover sole, grilled or in cream sauce, or lobster thermidor; also matches well with Chinese white meat dishes like Shanghai style salted chicken.
14 months in French oak.
Mature now, but can be cellared for another 3 - 5 years.
