The Taittinger style emphasizes elegance and purity over power; this wine has a light golden color with persistent small bubbles, unripe fruit and toast nose and delicate citrus fruit and baked bread flavors; established in 1734, Taittinger makes over four million bottles of Champagne annually, with a range of highly-respected wines including the Comtes de Champagne series.
Serve at 8°C, nice as an aperitif or with elegant light dishes like fish carpaccio or sushi/sashimi, but remember don't dip in too much wasabi.
3~4 years for bottle aging.
